🌅 You all probably know by now that I am more night owl than morning lark but if I have to be out of the house early I will usually stop somewhere to get something sweet to start my day.
☀️Sometimes it’s a quick cornetto at my neighborhood bar or sometimes it’s a leisurely meetup with a pal. If I am by myself and the weather is nice I like to get a pastry to go and find a sunny spot in a park or a piazza.
A pal recently commented that Italians don’t really do protein first thing in the morning do they? She is correct. Yes, you can find things like bacon and eggs now pretty easily in Rome but my advice is while you are here embrace your inner Italian and start your day with sweetness.
