The green I'm dreaming of - The green I'm living with

I apologize. I haven’t had much bandwidth. Literally, I only just got internet installed in the new house1, and figuratively, my brain is overloaded with living out of suitcases for 7 months, visitors, traveling, and moving details (Maybe my mattress will be delivered on Friday? We probably won’t have our things that are in storage in Rome until December). I know I have missed a few emails. So, I am totally stealing this fun idea from Abigail Koffler.

  1. When (and where!) was your first trip to Italy?

  2. What is your favorite pasta dish?

  3. How did you find Gillian Knows Best?

  4. What is the best thing you ate this month?

I’ll go first.

  1. My first trip to Italy was when I was 15 years old. My father was teaching a summer course in Bressanone (Brixen) in the Dolomites. That was also my first trip to Venice.

  2. Amatriciana forever!

  3. 🙋‍♀️

  4. See below

Your turn! Tell me your answers in the comments. In the meantime, I am repeating what the Venetians say, Duri i banchi.
