1. Streaming a Litany of Jazz Trio’s after I wake up in the morning. 2. The sound of my espresso machine on the very first pull in the morning. 3. Owls hooting in the Cedars in my backyard at night. 4. Traveling on the Frecciarossa from Rome to Venice. 5. Exiting the Venice train station down the stairs to the Grand Canal. 6. Anything Mozart. 7. Dressing a Christmas tree with ornaments. 8. Buying Shannon gifts anytime. 9. Walking the streets of Rome and Venice early in the morning. 10. Gillian - I love this post. The sound that immediately came to mind is that of a child’s laugh. Always fresh, joyful and unabashed.

Now you have me thinking about was else brings delight!

Gillian, this is such beautiful post. I love how you exploited the many options Substack gives us, to provide a multisensorial Italian experience. This is what Italy truly is. So moving! I'm definitely going to share this post with my readers.
